SATELLITE CONTAMINATION AND
MATERIALS OUTGASSING KNOWLEDGEBASE V3
Description:
What's New in Version 3.0 -
Approximately 75 additional material
outgassing data sets from NASA/GSFC, OSI, Agilent, AEDC,
Lockheed, and NASA/MSFC
Results of E1559 Round Robin Outgassing

A new search option has been added
through Acrobat 6.0 or 7.0.
Approximately 200 Contamination/Space
Environmental Effects papers/reports are now available in
pdf format and can be accessed and searched through Acrobat
6.0 or 7.0. These include all the LDEF reports/papers for
the three Post-Retrieval conferences and papers related to
POSA, MIR, and the International Space Station.
Current users
will need to contact Sopo Yung at
Sopo.Yung-1@nasa.gov
in order to receive the upgrade.
Description:
This knowledgebase is the combination of ASTM E1559 and
Space QCM flight data databases providing the coordination of
tested materials properties to effects observed in flight.
Additional Information:
The Standalone web-based version of the Satellite
Contamination and Materials Outgassing Knowledgebase can be
run on your own PC, as long as you have Internet Information
Services (IIS) installed by adding the Windows Component in
Control Panel (Windows Install CD required) and have a DVD drive. The process for
installing IIS varies with the different versions of Windows, and
unfortunately Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition
and Windows XP Home Edition
do not support IIS.
NOTE: The Knowledgebase will not work without IIS, and
may/will not be available for some NASA computer systems.
MSFC EV44 is working to resolve this problem.
For full performance, access
to Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 (or later version), Excel, and Winzip (or other unzip
programs) is required.
