Materials & Processes
The Materials and Processes Working Group
coordinates technical issues associated with materials on
past, present, and future spacecraft operating in low earth
or geosynchronous orbit. The goal is not only to predict the
materials behavior in space but also to develop longer life
materials.
Comparison of results of optical properties by white and
ultraviolet light on S13 GLO samples from an experiment
flown on the
Long Duration Exposure Facility (LDEF).
