Description:

Space Radiation is an engineering tool that models the space environment and its effects on space systems. The model will estimate ionizing radiation exposure caused by Van Allen belts, solar flares, and galactic cosmic radiation. The model package does orbit generation, environment modeling, radiation transport and radiation effects calculations. The model includes several industry standard models including AP8, AE8, CREME, JPL 1991, and IGRF/DGRF. Other models are available.
