MACREE V2

Description:

The MACREE program can be used to generate Galactic Cosmic Ray (GCR) and solar particle energy and Linear Energy Transfer (LET) spectra for use in evaluating the effects of these forms of radiation on electronics. Nominal GCR, anomalous, and solar fluxes can be calculated separately or in any combination. MACREE V2 incorporates the Boeing model for the October 1989 solar flare. A simple batch file input mode is incorporated permitting design and parameteric studies to be easily performed. All input data is echoed to the output files, thus making the output self documenting. The output files are text files with tab separated tables, permitting easy post processing in any spreadsheet program.
